Green Township Vigilant Society 1897 By-Laws

Constitution and By-Laws of the Green Township Vigilant Society for the Detection of Horse and Mule Thieves. Adopted at the Organization of the Society, April, A. D. 1871. [FHL US/CAN 0,888,799]

The object of the Society shall be, by a mutual association, to enable the members thereof to use vigilant and systematic exertions, as well to secure the thieves, as to regain the Horses or Mules of the members which may be stolen.
