In issuing this official Souvenir Program the Committee of the Fiftieth Anniversary of the organization of the Volunteer Fire Department of Westfield, New Jersey, as representatives of said department, are grateful for the aid given us generously by the progressive citizen, our friends and the subscribers for their kindly assistance in making this Anniversary a success. Had it not been for that helping hand, the Fire Department would not have existence. We therefore extend our thanks for past favors and also for the liberal patronage extended us in this year of grace.
