Annual Catalog of Suffield Academy, The Connecticut Literary Institution, Suffield Connecticut, June Nineteen Hundred Four. Giving Courses of Study for the Academic Year 1904-1905.

Founded at Suffield by the Connecticut Baptist Educational Society in 1833, it was first opened in the old Town Hall in the fall of that year, and in 1834 the first building was completed. The Academy is pre-eminently a boarding school for boys and young men. Its method of discipline, together with the pervading spirit of its student body are the same as is found in cultured and refined families.
