Michael Reese Hospital School of Nursing, 29th Street and Ellis Avenue, Chicago, Ill. Registered by the State of Illinois. Includes listing of graduates from 1892 to 1922.

The Michael Reese Hospital School of Nursing was established in the year 1890 in order to prepare young women for the profession of nursing and to care for the patients of the Michael Reese Hospital. It is an integral part of the hospital and its government is vested in a school committee, appointed from and by the Board of Directors of the Hospital and assisted by the Woman's Auxiliary Board, which is vitally interested in the home life of the student nurses. Although the school is non-sectarian, students are encouraged to attend the churches with which they have been previously affiliated.
